Wrapping Up the Leadership Workshop at the University of Stirling
For the second year in a row, I had the privilege of serving as a consultant for United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) alongside the expert Peter Varga. We shared our experiences in international relations and diplomacy with the master’s students in Human Rights. My discussions covered emotional intelligence, recognizing one’s innate strengths and potential, achieving effective negotiation through a deep understanding of cultural differences, and most importantly, identifying one’s unconscious biases.
It was a truly wonderful experience, with inquisitive students eager to learn from my political background and determined to become tomorrow’s exceptional leaders. I extend my sincere gratitude to the University of Stirling for their warm hospitality and especially to Dr Damian Etone who was always ready to address any issues that arose. I’m also grateful to Mhairi Mackenzie and Anouk Reilly invaluable and professional UNITAR resources. It was undoubtedly a remarkable experience that I look forward to repeating.
