BACKGROUND
Over the last decade, I have been Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, a member of the PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe), chair of the Committee on Agenda 2030 and sustainable development goals, and chair of the Personal Affairs Committee.
Within the Chamber of Deputies, I shaped a new gender investigation for bills proposed by congressmen, enabling a specific ex-ante gender analysis.
As Chair of the Committee on Agenda 2030 and SDGs, I promoted a fact-finding survey about Goal sixteen, provided robust consultations while engaging with stakeholders and supervised and coordinated all key operations.
As Chair of the Personnel Affairs Committee, I reviewed the reform labor contract and launched open competitive examinations aimed at recruiting professionals at the Chamber of Deputies.
I’m a passionate, conscientious, and meticulous professional with substantial experience within institutions and external stakeholders overseeing, streamlining, and resolving emergent issues, including but not only policy developments, recommendations on positioning, advocacy, and image promotion.
I gained strong expertise in identifying legislative opportunities, betterment, and advancement of key expertise areas.
I’m is also a solid advocate for women’s empowerment and well-known for my work promoting gender equity and social parity. Active in many international fora, I strive to give a voice to women and girls. Since 2015 I have been a member of the Parliamentary Intergroup for Women’s Rights and Equal Opportunities and joined the Women Political Leaders network.
